A criminal case has been initiated in St. Petersburg following a dog attack on a 9-year-old girl. The Investigative Committee announced the opening of the case on June 16, prompted by media reports of the incident.
The attack occurred on June 15 near a residence on Zheleznodorozhnaya Street in the city of Pushkin.
The young girl required medical assistance as a result of the injuries sustained in the attack.
The criminal case is being pursued under the “Hooliganism” article of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation.
