Novosibirsk residents can anticipate relief from the ongoing heatwave starting June 21, with a significant temperature drop expected after June 25. Various weather services concur that the city will experience cooler temperatures and rain in the coming days.
While temperatures may still reach up to +34 degrees in the region in the immediate future, forecasters indicate a change in weather patterns.
Specifically, June 21 is predicted to bring a decrease in temperature to around +23 degrees, accompanied by rain and thunderstorms. This follows a forecast of +30 degrees for June 20.
Several weather services, including “West Siberian UGMS”, “Weather NGS”, Gismeteo, and “Yandex Weather,” are reporting similar forecasts. “Weather NGS” predicts an average temperature of +19 degrees on June 21, with temperatures not exceeding +26 degrees afterward. They also anticipate a further decrease to an average of +17 degrees next week, along with rain.
Gismeteo experts also foresee the heat subsiding on June 21, with temperatures dropping to +23 degrees and prolonged rains expected from the beginning of next week.
“Yandex Weather” forecasts the lowest daytime temperature to drop to +20 degrees around June 26.
