A new residential complex is set to be built in Yekaterinburg’s Vuzgorodok district, on the site of previously demolished buildings. The development, undertaken by GK “Praktika,” will consist of three high-rise buildings.
Construction is scheduled to commence in August, following the resettlement and demolition of dilapidated houses from the 1950s that occupied the nearly five thousand square meter plot. The site is bordered by Komsomolskaya and Studencheskaya streets, as well as Uchenichesky and Chaadaev lanes.
The project will proceed in two phases. The initial phase will see the construction of two buildings with 10 and 33 floors, along with underground parking. The second phase involves the addition of a building with 10 to 12 floors.
Named “Chaadaev” after the publicist and philosopher, the residential complex will feature a “Garden of Reflections.” This green space will provide a place for reading and contemplation, adorned with quotes from Peter Chaadaev. The first stage also includes the development of a two-level underground parking facility.
In addition to the “Chaadaev” complex, GK “Praktika” is also involved in a development project in Vtorchermet. The company acquired the land through auction for 210 million rubles and plans to construct new high-rise buildings on the site of old two-story structures under a renovation program. Another project involves the construction of a residential complex, shopping center, and educational center opposite the lake and Ramada Hotel. The second phase of the hotel will soon be built near the Ramada.
