Conflicting Weather Forecasts for St. Petersburg on June 11th

St. Petersburg residents can expect differing weather conditions on Wednesday, June 11th, depending on the forecast they follow. While one source predicts light rain due to a cyclone, another anticipates a dry day with variable cloudiness.

The Moscow center “PHOBOS” forecasts that a cyclone approaching from the west will bring light rain to St. Petersburg. Meteorologists from this center believe the cyclonic vortex will gradually cover the sky with dense clouds, leading to scattered light rain in the afternoon.

According to PHOBOS, the air temperature in St. Petersburg will range from 17 to 19 degrees Celsius, while the Leningrad region can expect temperatures between 16 and 21 degrees Celsius. A southwest wind will blow at 3-8 m/s, and atmospheric pressure will remain stable at around 760 mm Hg.

In contrast, forecasters from the Northwest Hydrometeorological Service (SZ UGMS) are predicting a dry day for St. Petersburg. Their forecast indicates variable cloudiness but no significant precipitation for the city on June 11th.
