A cold snap is anticipated in the Sverdlovsk region, bringing a significant drop in temperatures, especially at night. The approaching weather change is due to a ridge of an anticyclone extending from the Black Sea.
The Ural Hydrometeorological Center has issued a warning regarding unfavorable conditions for the dispersion of harmful impurities in the air due to the anticyclone; the warning is in effect from June 6th to June 11th.
During the day on Saturday, the anticyclone ridge will move towards the Trans-Urals, allowing warmer air to return to the Middle Urals. However, a cool night is expected on June 8th specifically in the southeastern part of the Sverdlovsk region.
The region is currently situated in the cold part of the ridge, resulting in low daytime temperatures despite the presence of sunlight.
Nighttime temperatures in the region are expected to fall to 0..+5°C, with a probability of frost.
In Yekaterinburg, the forecast for June 7th predicts a daytime high of +25°C and a nighttime temperature of around +10°C. June 8th and 9th are expected to be warmer, with daytime temperatures around +28…29°C and nighttime temperatures between +11…16°C. No rain is expected during these days.
