Marketplaces have emerged as the top choice for children’s clothing among Moscow parents, according to a recent poll conducted by MSK1.RU. The poll, which included responses from 1482 Telegram channel subscribers and 31 website users, sought to determine the preferred children’s clothing store among Muscovites ahead of Children’s Day.

A third of the participating parents, totaling 518 individuals, indicated that they primarily shop for children’s clothes on online marketplaces.

“Detsky Mir” (“Children’s World”) secured the second position with 348 votes. However, some parents noted that the store’s selection is better suited for younger children. One reader, Maria, shared that while “Detsky Mir” is excellent for preschoolers and infants, the assortment becomes limited for her 6-year-old daughter, prompting her to rely on marketplaces.

“Gloria Jeans” claimed a respectable third place, garnering 178 votes from Moscow residents.

Following “Gloria Jeans” in descending order of popularity are “Sadovod”, “Motherbear” and “Crockid”.

The poll organizers acknowledged that not all options could be included due to space limitations and emphasized the selection of the most frequently mentioned stores. They encouraged readers to participate in future “People’s Rating” polls by nominating their preferred choices in the comments section of their Telegram channel.
