A 3-year-old boy is in critical condition after being struck by a truck in St. Petersburg’s Pushkin district on Sunday morning. The incident occurred at 11:04 AM on Pushkinskaya Street near house number 11.

The child ran out onto the road from behind parked vehicles and was hit by a KAMAZ truck driven by a 65-year-old man.

The accident took place outside of a designated pedestrian crossing. The boy was immediately hospitalized with extremely serious injuries. Authorities are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.
