A child in Novosibirsk who was attacked by a husky will receive 50,000 rubles in compensation, as decided by the Leninsky District Court. The decision follows a lawsuit filed by the district prosecutor to recover moral compensation for the child.

The incident occurred in June 2024, in the yard of a house on 1st Shosseynaya Street, near a playground. A dog attacked the boy and bit him on the elbow.

Following media reports of the incident, an investigation was launched. The prosecutor’s office confirmed that the attack took place on the grounds near a house.

The child suffered significant injuries and was immediately taken to a medical facility. According to the social media group “AST-54” on “VKontakte,” the child “screamed frantically from fright and pain, and was covered in blood,” requiring immediate medical attention and long-term treatment until September.
