A car was destroyed by fire early on July 30th on Zorge Street in Novosibirsk following a disturbance caused by an unidentified man. Authorities are investigating the incident, which occurred near house number 189, to determine if arson was the cause.
The fire department responded to a call after 2:00 AM and extinguished the blaze within five minutes; the car was engulfed in flames, but no injuries were reported.
Eyewitness accounts and video footage show a man vandalizing the vehicle before it caught fire. According to an eyewitness, the man was seen smashing windows, throwing items from the car, and even twisting off a door. Shortly after the vandalism, the car ignited, and the man left the scene.
Police are also investigating the incident. They are working to establish the full circumstances surrounding the fire and whether it was intentionally set.
Prior to the fire, a local resident reported hearing loud noises and shouting.
