A traffic incident involving a Porsche and a bus in Ekaterinburg on July 30th caused traffic disruptions and a subsequent act of vandalism. The incident occurred at the intersection of Rosa Luxemburg and Kuibyshev streets, resulting in damage to both vehicles.
According to auto expert Dmitry Larionov, the bus driver bears full responsibility for the accident. Larionov analyzed the situation, asserting that the bus driver was traveling at an unsafe speed and failed to maintain a safe lateral distance from the Porsche.
No one sustained injuries during the collision. However, the Porsche driver, angered by the incident, reacted by smashing a window of the bus.
Larionov stated that the Porsche was moving slowly in traffic, turning right from the appropriate lane at a speed of 2-3 km/h. He argues that the bus driver, traveling at a speed of 15-20 km/h, created a trajectory that made a collision unavoidable, even if the Porsche had been stationary.
The auto expert emphasized that the traffic rules mandate drivers to maintain a safe lateral distance. He believes the bus driver did not adhere to this rule, leading to the accident. Larionov concludes that the Porsche driver had no opportunity to react and prevent the collision due to the low speed and short distance.
