The bridge in the Bryansk region, which was bombed on the night of June 1st, has been completely demolished. This action follows assessments that the bridge was beyond repair after the initial explosion.

Governor Alexander Bogomaz stated that specialists were prepared to begin clearing the debris. The demolition took place on the evening of June 1st to facilitate the removal of the damaged structure.

The bombing incident occurred on Sunday night, impacting a truck that was traveling on the bridge. The collapse resulted in the truck falling onto a passing train, causing a major disaster.

Tragically, seven people lost their lives, and approximately 70 others sustained injuries. Efforts were undertaken to remove the wrecked carriages from the site.

In a separate incident, a bridge in the Kursk region was also bombed during the night while a freight train was crossing it.

Authorities have classified both bombing events as terrorist attacks.
