The Berdsk mayor’s office has developed documentation to repair the 1.7-kilometer road connecting the Sibiryak microdistrict and Novy settlement, a project estimated to cost 65.6 million rubles. The road is heavily used by motorists and residents with limited mobility, particularly those from the nearby labor veterans’ boarding house who must navigate potholes due to the absence of sidewalks.

The Berdsk administration stated that the road repair will be carried out in stages, depending on available budget funding. Repairs on the section from Timiryazeva Street to Dachnaya Street were completed on July 25, 2024.

The city administration does not plan to appeal the city court’s decision, which mandated the road repair. Currently, the issue of financing the remaining road repair is under consideration by the regional Ministry of Transport.
