Truck drivers in the Irkutsk region of Russia reportedly attempted to disable drones by throwing stones at them. The drones were allegedly being launched from a truck in the Usolsky district.
Anton Matskevich, a driver from Belarus, described the incident, stating that he and other truckers tried to prevent the drones from taking off. They threw stones at the truck to pin the drones down.
The incident occurred after the Irkutsk region, along with other parts of Siberia, experienced its first UAV attack. Drones targeted a military unit in the village of Sredny, and one strike affected an old building in nearby Novomaltinsk.
Igor Kobzev, the governor of the Irkutsk region, confirmed that the drones were launched from a truck that was subsequently blocked.
