The Social Fund of Russia (SFR) will automatically recalculate insurance pensions for working pensioners starting August 1st. This recalculation will occur without any required application from pensioners.

Pension increases will be granted to pensioners who were officially employed in 2024 and for whom employers made insurance contributions. The amount of the increase will depend on the individual pension coefficients (IPC) accumulated by the pensioner over the past year. The maximum increase a pensioner can receive is 437.07 rubles.

Individual pension coefficients (IPC) are points awarded for each year of work. Each point is worth 145.69 rubles in 2025. A working pensioner can accumulate a maximum of three pension points in one year.

Sergey Chirkov, Chairman of the Social Fund of Russia, stated that the process has been simplified and citizens do not need to apply, as all necessary payments will be automatically accrued in August. He also emphasized that in subsequent years, pensions for working pensioners will be indexed annually, similar to non-working pensioners.

In addition to the recalculation for working pensioners, payments will also increase in August for pensioners who turned 80 years old in July (+ 8907 rubles), those who received disability group I (+ 8907 rubles), and allowances for the care of the first two groups (+ 1314 rubles to the insurance pension, and + 1377 rubles to the state pension).

Mothers-heroines will receive a large increase of 36.5 thousand rubles. For those mothers who already receive a pension, the allowance for 2025 will be paid in the first half of 2026. This payment will also be indexed annually.
