Three individuals have been detained by police in Novosibirsk following an attack on journalists in the Dzerzhinsky district. According to Irina Volk, the official representative of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs, the incident is currently under investigation by local authorities.
The attack occurred while the journalists, reportedly a REN TV film crew, were carrying out an editorial assignment on Karavaeva Street. The assailants, identified as residents of a nearby house, allegedly armed themselves with sticks during the confrontation.
The detained individuals have been taken to police station No. 5 “Dzerzhinsky,” where authorities are conducting an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the attack. The motive for the assault remains unclear at this time.
