Forward Artem Dzyuba has extended his contract with Akron football club for another season. The announcement was made by the club’s press service on June 1.

Dzyuba initially joined Akron in September 2024, following his departure from Lokomotiv. In March 2025, he achieved a significant milestone, scoring his 234th career goal and becoming the all-time leading scorer in Russian football history.

During the 2024/2025 season, Dzyuba participated in 22 Russian Premier League matches. He scored nine goals and provided seven assists in those league games. Additionally, he played in two Russian Cup matches, contributing one goal.
