Natalia Nikitina, a 45-year-old mother of two from Arkhangelsk, has radically transformed her life by losing 23 kilograms in just four and a half months. This remarkable achievement led her to win a beauty contest and inspired her to change her career.
Nikitina’s weight loss journey began two years ago when she weighed 90 kilograms and experienced health problems such as joint pain, arm pain, and headaches. At 169 centimeters tall, she felt uncomfortable at that weight and realized she needed to make a change.
By consulting with weight loss curators, Nikitina adopted a healthy eating program that emphasized protein intake, which curbed her cravings for sweets. She now eats six times a day, carefully monitoring her food choices.
Nikitina stresses the importance of discipline and prioritizing nutrition, which she says accounts for 80% of a healthy lifestyle, with physical activity making up the remaining 20%. She encourages others to take care of themselves and restore their health through proper nutrition.
Inspired by her transformation, Nikitina transitioned from her 20-year career as a florist to become a nutrition consultant, working remotely to help others achieve their own health goals. She finds fulfillment in witnessing her clients’ transformations and the positive impact it has on their lives.
Adding another unexpected chapter to her life, Nikitina entered and won the “Mrs. Grand” crown at a regional beauty contest, despite having no prior experience in such competitions. Although she did not win at the federal level, she gained valuable experience and hopes to see Arkhangelsk take the national award in the “Grand” nomination in the future.
Nikitina’s story demonstrates how taking control of one’s health can open doors to new opportunities and experiences, empowering individuals to pursue their dreams and live more fulfilling lives.
