The territory of Apraksin Dvor in St. Petersburg has been almost completely cleared of illegal buildings as of June 6th. According to St. Petersburg Governor Alexander Beglov, authorities have been actively working to remove unauthorized structures from the area.
Recent law enforcement raids and official operations have targeted the illegal buildings and trade activities in Apraksin Dvor. City officials report that these raids will continue in the future to prevent the re-emergence of unauthorized structures.
The city head’s Telegram channel stated that isolated cases of reappearance of such structures are currently being identified and addressed.
Since January 2025, authorities in St. Petersburg have drawn up 1.1 thousand protocols related to unauthorized trading. During this period, goods valued at over 33 million rubles have been seized.
Previous raids and demolition of illegal structures in Apraksin Dvor occurred in March and May.
