Andrei Ryumin has been elected as the Chairman of the Board of Directors of PJSC Rosseti Lenenergo, according to a statement released by the distribution grid company on Wednesday, June 18. The decision was made at the company’s annual general meeting of shareholders.
Ryumin, who also serves as the General Director and Chairman of the Management Board of PJSC Rosseti, previously led Rosseti Lenenergo from 2018 to 2021. In January 2021, he was appointed acting General Director of PJSC Rosseti following Pavel Livinsky’s departure, leading to the termination of his responsibilities at Lenenergo. Igor Kuzmin, the Deputy General Director and Chief Engineer, then took over as the acting head of Lenenergo. Ryumin was officially confirmed as the General Director of PJSC Rosseti in February 2021.
Andrei Ryumin is 45 years old and a graduate of the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics of Moscow State University named after M. V. Lomonosov.
