A 23-year-old man from the Far East has been arrested in connection with the theft of an ambulance in Murino. The incident occurred on Vorontsovsky Boulevard on the morning of July 30th.

The stolen vehicle was recovered approximately an hour and a half later on Petrovsky Boulevard. It was found stuck between other cars.

Law enforcement officials from the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for St. Petersburg and the Leningrad Region reported the arrest on July 31st. The suspect is a resident of Komsomolsk-on-Amur.

Authorities have initiated a criminal case against the suspect. The charges relate to the unlawful seizure of a vehicle without the intent to steal.
