Diana Galina, the Altai model who fell into a coma nearly four months ago, is returning home to the Altai Territory after undergoing two operations and observation in China. She will be transported from Blagoveshchensk for continued care.
Diana is scheduled to travel by train from Blagoveshchensk to Barnaul towards the end of June.
According to her mother, Tatyana Galina, Diana’s condition remains stable, but she has begun to breathe independently, without needing oxygen support, which is considered significant progress.
On February 25, Diana lost consciousness while working on a modeling contract in China. She was urgently hospitalized and diagnosed with a ruptured cerebral aneurysm.
After almost a month in a Chinese hospital, Diana was transported to Blagoveshchensk on March 20. In April, she showed weak reflexes, blinking and reacting to touch, however, in May, her condition appeared to worsen, and she was placed on a ventilator.
