A sixth-grade student was allegedly raped in the entryway of her apartment building in Pushkin. The incident is currently under investigation by authorities.

The alleged crime was reported to police by the girl’s mother, who filed a report after her daughter disclosed the assault.

According to reports, the incident occurred the night before the report was filed. The victim is 13 years old.

Police have identified a suspect, an eighth-grade student from a boarding school who is reportedly an acquaintance of the victim.

Medical professionals have documented injuries consistent with the alleged assault.

Law enforcement officials have seized security camera footage from the apartment building and the verification materials have been transferred to the Investigative Committee. A decision is pending regarding the initiation of a criminal case.
