A free concert by Alexander Pushnoy will be held in Novosibirsk as part of the Technoart festival. The event is part of a larger effort to promote science and art in the city.
The Technoart festival will also feature jazz singer Varvara Ubel, famous for winning a show on the Russia TV channel. The Russian Academic Orchestra of the Novosibirsk Philharmonic is scheduled to perform rock compositions using folk instruments. Lectures by scientists will be held on the same stage during the day, aiming to make scientists as popular as rock stars.
Lenina Street will be partially closed for three days, from August 29 to 31, for the festival. The stage will be located in front of the Pobeda cinema.
The program for the VivaAvia air show, set to take place in Mochishche in early August, has also been announced, with the event spanning two days this year.
