Alexander Pushnoy, the celebrated artist, recently marked his 50th birthday on May 16 with a gathering of family and friends. He shared his reflections on reaching this milestone in an interview.

Pushnoy celebrated his birthday with a concert, which he considers the ideal way for a performer to mark such an occasion. He expressed surprise at reaching this age, admitting that when he was 20, 50 seemed like a very advanced age.

While Pushnoy doesn’t feel old, he acknowledged an increase in hospital visits. Doctors assure him that his wear and tear is normal for his age and lifestyle.

He doesn’t long for his youth, a period he remembers as filled with trials and difficulties. He recalls being primarily preoccupied with exams and studies during his 20s.
