Air Arabia will begin offering direct flights from Koltsovo Airport (Yekaterinburg) to Ras Al Khaimah, the northernmost emirate of the UAE, starting October 27th.

The new route will be served by Airbus A320 aircraft. Flights are currently scheduled for Tuesdays.

Koltsovo Airport’s press service confirmed the addition to their schedule. Air Arabia already operates flights from Yekaterinburg to Sharjah and, during the winter season, to Abu Dhabi.

Ras Al Khaimah, whose name translates to “top of the tent”, offers a diverse landscape. The emirate features desert dunes, 64 kilometers of sandy beaches, and mountains, including Jebel Jais, the highest mountain in the UAE. The region is also rich in history, with numerous archaeological sites. Four of these sites are currently on the preliminary list for UNESCO World Heritage status.
