A 29-year-old man was hospitalized after being struck by a car in Novosibirsk’s Leninsky district. The incident occurred after a collision between two vehicles caused one to veer off course and hit the pedestrian.

The Novosibirsk Traffic Police reported that a 20-year-old driving a Lada Vesta along Karl Marx Avenue collided with a Toyota Premio driven by a 38-year-old man. The impact of the collision resulted in the Toyota Premio running over a pedestrian who was near the roadway.

The accident took place as the Lada Vesta was traveling from Kosmicheskaya Street towards Lyshchinsky Square. Authorities confirmed that the driver of the Lada Vesta did not possess a valid driver’s license at the time of the accident.

Law enforcement is currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the collision.
