The Ministry of Emergency Situations reminds residents to take precautions in the heat. Forecasters indicate that on June 12 and 13, an anticyclone will bring partly cloudy conditions with light winds. On June 14, as the anticyclone shifts eastward towards the Krasnoyarsk Territory, cumulonimbus clouds will develop in the western part of the Novosibirsk region.
Short-term thunderstorms are expected, affecting parts of the Novosibirsk region and neighboring areas of Western Siberia on June 15. Despite this, daytime temperatures will remain high, ranging from +24 to +29 degrees Celsius, with some areas reaching up to +34 degrees Celsius.
A brief respite from the heat is anticipated at the beginning of the work week, due to the passage of thunderstorm clouds associated with a cold front. Forecasters predict rain, increased winds, and a drop in temperatures.
