VDNKh (Exhibition of Achievements of National Economy) in Moscow hosted a large celebration for International Children’s Day on June 1st, featuring a variety of activities for children and families. Despite the rain, the event drew many visitors who participated in games, master classes, excursions, cartoon screenings, and festivals.
The celebration included performances by professional artists, street performers, circus acts, and animation shows across the Central and Main Allees. Visitors could also explore various pavilions, including one showcasing a model of Moscow.
According to one visitor, the large crowds made it difficult to access some master classes. However, families still enjoyed the available activities. Some visitors came from distant regions to partake in the festivities. One family from Orenburg traveled to Moscow specifically for their daughter to perform on the main stage. They also planned to visit the Moskvarium after making a birdhouse.
A robo-arm camera captured mini-clips of children jumping on trampolines, with approximately 300 people filmed in the first half of the day. Security screening frames were in place at the entrance to VDNKh.
