Two young girls, aged 11 and 12, tragically died in Terpilitsy after a concrete slab collapsed on them. The incident occurred while the girls were filming a video in an abandoned room on June 1st.

Footage recovered from one of the girl’s phones revealed that they were intentionally dismantling a support structure that was holding up the concrete ceiling. The video shows the girls discussing how unstable the support was and then proceeding to strike it with stones.

The girls were recorded saying phrases such as “It’s really wobbling,” “This one can be moved,” and “This needs to be chipped away,” as they targeted the support. They appeared delighted when the support swayed significantly after being struck.

After several more blows, the support gave way, causing hundreds of kilograms of concrete ceiling to fall on top of the children. Rescuers arrived at the scene quickly, but the girls were already deceased.
