A truck served as the launch point for the drone attack on a military unit in the Irkutsk region, according to an update from Governor Igor Kobzev on June 1.

The attack targeted a military unit located in the village of Sredny in the Usolsky district, marking the first drone strike in Siberia since the beginning of the Special Military Operation.

Authorities have reportedly blocked the truck used to launch the drones.

One of the unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) crashed into an old building, but there were no reported casualties as a result of the incident.
