Moscow Court Sentences Man for Murder on Kutuzovsky Prospekt

Albert Abdullin has been sentenced to 13 years in prison for the murder of a woman on Kutuzovsky Prospekt in Moscow. The Moscow Prosecutor’s Office announced the sentence following the crime that occurred in January.

The incident unfolded on the night of January 18-19, 2025, after Abdullin met the victim at Kievsky railway station. Following a drinking session, an argument ensued, leading Abdullin to fatally stab the woman with a push dagger.

Abdullin attempted to conceal the crime by hiding the body in a “Zaporozhets” car owned by actor Gosha Kutsenko. Additionally, it was discovered that he had tried to break into a design office near the crime scene that same night. Employees of the office aided in tracking Abdullin’s movements.

It was revealed that Abdullin had a prior criminal record, including convictions for murder, theft, and rape in 2019. He was sentenced to a colony but was released early after participating in the Special Military Operation (SVO), returning approximately six months before the murder.

The victim was identified as a 36-year-old woman from the Kamchatka Territory. She is survived by two minor sons and had previously resided in Tolyatti before moving to Moscow several years ago.

Acquaintances of Abdullin described him as having a difficult childhood and struggling with alcohol.
