St. Petersburg is bracing for severe weather conditions, with thunderstorms expected within the next 1-2 hours, according to the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
The operational headquarters of the Ministry of Emergency Situations issued the warning on the evening of June 18th, citing data from the Federal State Budgetary Institution “North-West UGMS.”
Heavy rains are also forecasted for the following day, with the most intense period expected between 9 am and 9 pm.
Strong winds, with gusts reaching 15-18 meters per second, are predicted to begin around 6 pm on June 19th.
Due to the anticipated adverse weather, a “yellow” level of danger has been declared by the St. Petersburg government.
