Mogochinsky District Maintains Low Unemployment Through Social Contracts

The Mogochinsky district has maintained a remarkably low unemployment rate of 0.6% for several years, largely attributed to the implementation of social contracts with low-income families in villages. This was announced during the round table “Heroes. Victories. The Future.” on May 29.

In 2024 alone, 57 social contracts were established in the district, totaling 8.5 million rubles. These contracts aim to provide financial assistance to individuals in challenging circumstances, supporting them in securing employment, launching their own businesses, or managing personal farms.

Social contracts are agreements between protection agencies and citizens, specifically designed for those whose income falls below the subsistence minimum.

The Mogochinsky district is home to 20,598 residents. A significant portion of the population is employed by key organizations such as ZabZD, Ksenyevsky mine, and “Mangazeya,” among others within the district.
