A 26-year-old man was hospitalized after being struck by a car in Novosibirsk early this morning. The incident occurred at 12:35 AM on Sovetskaya Street, near house number 33.

According to the Novosibirsk State Traffic Inspectorate, a 23-year-old driving a BMW X6 was traveling from Lenin Street towards Gorky Street when he hit the pedestrian. The pedestrian was crossing the roadway from left to right, outside of a designated pedestrian crossing.

The police are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the accident. Prior to this incident, a minibus collided with an Opel in Novosibirsk, resulting in injuries to a four-year-old boy.
