Free outdoor screenings of the film “Africa” (6+) will be held across various districts of Chita from June 2nd to June 6th. The screenings are organized by the “Yunost” cultural and leisure center.

The film will be shown at 12:00 PM on the following dates and locations:

• June 2nd: Ugolshikov Park, Chernovsky district
• June 4th: Grounds of the “Yunost” center (Yunosti, 6), Ingodinsky district
• June 6th: Dance floor in “Kollektivny Trud” park, Zheleznodorozhny district

Free popcorn will be provided at all screenings.

“Africa,” directed by Daria Binevskaya in 2021, is a war melodrama set in 1943 near besieged Leningrad. The story follows a mother and her three children struggling to survive in a deserted village. The sons embark on a journey for food and are faced with a difficult choice: to save their family or a dog they find.

Organizers are encouraging attendees to bring blankets for their comfort.
