A motorcyclist was seriously injured on Peterhof Highway near “Pearl Plaza” in St. Petersburg on the evening of May 31st when a white Rolls-Royce allegedly ran him over while making an illegal U-turn across a double solid line. The driver of the Rolls-Royce, bearing memorable license plates, reportedly attempted to conceal the plates after the incident.
Eyewitness accounts indicate the Rolls-Royce driver made a U-turn across a double solid line and ran over the motorcyclist twice. The eyewitness helped the ambulance crew with the injured man, who was bleeding, while the Rolls-Royce driver was allegedly more concerned with hiding the license plates and their faces.
The driver has been identified as a 37-year-old local resident. This individual shares a name with a person who received an honorary diploma from the President of the Russian Federation for contributions to socially significant events. The namesake is listed as the head of a department within a company owned by his father, which specializes in repair work, including renovations at the youth club “Young Shipbuilder.”
Furthermore, a person with the same name is the chairman of the board of a real estate owners association in the Vsevolozhsky district of the Leningrad region. This individual is also a co-owner of two companies involved in restaurants, food delivery services, tobacco production in Pushkin, and commercial management consulting.
Previously, in December 2024, there were reports on social media that the license plates of the Rolls-Royce were purportedly sold for 20 million rubles.
