Ten-Year-Old Wrestler Ellada Agamalieva Achieves Fame with Crushing Victories

Ellada Agamalieva, a 10-year-old from Arkhangelsk, has gained recognition for her impressive victories in Greco-Roman and freestyle wrestling, amassing 50 wins and attracting millions of views on YouTube. Her videos, showcasing her ability to defeat male opponents, have sparked both admiration and debate. Recently, Ellada competed on the show “Super Ninja. Children” for a prize of 2 million rubles.

Ellada’s mother, Sabina Agamalieva, recounts how her daughter’s wrestling journey began with a strong desire to participate in Greco-Roman wrestling, despite her family’s background in other sports such as taekwondo and rhythmic gymnastics. Ellada’s determination led her to become a four-time champion of the “Arctic Cup” and fueled her dream of becoming an Olympic champion and a coach.

Nicknamed “Tiger” for her aggressive style, Ellada first rose to prominence in 2024 when her wrestling videos went viral. One particular video, featuring a suplex throw, garnered 38 million views. The Agamalieva family was surprised by this sudden fame, which resulted in significant earnings on YouTube that they are currently unable to access due to monetization issues.

Despite her success, Ellada maintains strong relationships with her peers and faces challenges in finding suitable female opponents due to her skill level. Coaches have expressed concerns that boys are quitting wrestling after competing against her, and there is a need for more opportunities for girls to participate in freestyle wrestling.

Ellada’s participation in “Super Ninja. Children” further amplified her popularity. Although she didn’t win, she gained valuable experience and left a lasting impression on her fellow competitors. She has been invited to return for the next season and plans to donate half of her winnings to a baby home and use the rest to build a home with a training hall.

Looking ahead, Ellada is preparing to compete in the Russian Women’s Freestyle Wrestling Championship and has been cast in a film by Fyodor Bondarchuk, set to release in 2027, where she will play a young athlete. Her mother expresses confidence in her daughter’s abilities and future success in the sport.
