Authorities are investigating the death of a man whose body was discovered near a high-rise building on Viktor Usa Street in the Zatulinsky residential area on the evening of May 31. According to the regional Ministry of Internal Affairs, police received a report regarding the discovery and dispatched an investigative team to the scene to determine the circumstances surrounding the death. Initial reports indicate no apparent signs of foul play.

A motorcyclist identified as 42-year-old lawyer Denis Bovkun was killed in an accident on the evening of May 30 in the Zheleznodorozhny district. Bovkun was riding a Honda motorcycle when the collision occurred with a Chery automobile. The news of his death was shared on social media within the “Moto-LiFE | Moto Life of Novosibirsk” group on VKontakte, with members expressing their condolences.

A Siberian woman named Irina Sidorenko has been sentenced to a penal colony for fraud related to her work at the “Siberian Health Center” clinic, which offered “free” diagnostics to pensioners. The clinic was shut down five years ago, and the organizers were sentenced in April. Sidorenko, along with six other former employees, was charged a year after the investigation began. She maintains her innocence, claiming she was following management’s instructions during her brief employment at the center.
