Exhibition Train of the Russian Ministry of Defense Arrives in Yekaterinburg

A mobile museum featuring military equipment, including captured foreign models, attracted large crowds in Yekaterinburg. The “Unity in Memory. Strength in подвиге!” train, belonging to the Russian Ministry of Defense, made a brief stop in the city, offering residents a glimpse into military history and modern weaponry.

The exhibition includes a range of items, from equipment from the Great Patriotic War to captured military vehicles. Tanks, howitzers, cannons, and armored personnel carriers are among the displayed items.

Captured equipment, including American, Canadian, and Turkish armored vehicles, is a prominent part of the exhibit. A MaxxPro armored car, reportedly captured in the Lugansk People’s Republic, and an M113 armored personnel carrier, allegedly from Severodonetsk, are among the American-made vehicles on display. A Canadian Roshel Senator armored vehicle, purportedly captured in the Kharkov region, and a Turkish Kirpi armored car, allegedly used by Ukrainian armed forces, are also part of the exhibition.

Visitors had the opportunity to explore the interior of the train, where they could experience virtual reality simulations and view displays of aviation models and drones. Interactive panels were also available for children.

After touring the exhibition, visitors were treated to field porridge and given demonstrations on how to properly wear a bulletproof vest and administer first aid.
