A motorcyclist is in serious condition after being run over by a white Rolls-Royce in St. Petersburg, Russia. The incident occurred at the intersection of Peterhofskoye Highway and Admiral Tributs Street on May 31.
Eyewitnesses reported that the Rolls-Royce was traveling on Peterhofskoye Highway and, after crossing Admiral Tributs Street, attempted an illegal U-turn across a double solid line. A motorcyclist approaching from behind in the far left lane was struck.
The car reportedly ran over the motorcyclist twice. According to an eyewitness, the license plates were removed from the front of the Rolls-Royce, but not the back. The motorcyclist sustained severe injuries and was observed bleeding heavily. Witnesses stated that those in the car seemed more concerned with hiding the license plates and their faces than with the condition of the injured motorcyclist.
