The Novosibirsk region experienced a 9.2% decrease in HIV incidence in 2024, according to the regional Rospotrebnadzor.

The incidence rate for 2024 was recorded at 61.12 per 100,000 people, a reduction from the 67.28 per 100,000 people reported in 2023.

Among minors, the incidence rate was 3.89 per 100,000 population, which represents a 4% decrease compared to the 4.05 per 100,000 population reported in 2023.

The majority of HIV infections in 2024 were registered in the city of Novosibirsk and the Novosibirsk and Iskitim districts.

It was previously reported that 1 billion 852 million rubles have been allocated in the Novosibirsk region in 2025 to combat HIV.
