Novosibirsk is gearing up for a grand celebration of Russia Day on June 12th, with a diverse program of events, concerts, performances, and entertainment activities planned throughout the city. The Mikhailovskaya Embankment will serve as the central hub for the festivities.

The celebration kicks off at 12:00 on the Mikhailovskaya Embankment with a performance by the Novosibirsk Academic Symphony Orchestra and the Novosibirsk Choral Chapel, led by conductor Rustam Dilmukhametov. Alongside the musical performance, interactive platforms, master classes, and various activities will be available for people of all ages.

The “Challenge” multi-sport festival will take place on a separate section of the embankment, offering demonstrations and presentations from children’s sports schools and sections, as well as shows from sports clubs. The festival “Brave Games of the Peoples of Russia,” featuring folk and traditional games, will be held in front of the stage.

Most of the Russia Day events in Novosibirsk are free and will be held in various parks and squares across the city. Residents are invited to participate in rollerblading, master classes, and exhibitions.

Numerous festivals are scheduled to take place in Novosibirsk during the first month of summer.
