A man’s body was found near the abandoned Podsolnukh shopping center on Vatutin Street in Novosibirsk on June 11.

Eyewitnesses reported that the body was discovered early in the morning, around 6 a.m.

An ambulance arrived at the scene and remained there for approximately one hour before departing.

The body was removed from the location at approximately 8 a.m.

Local residents had previously raised concerns regarding the abandoned Podsolnukh shopping center, noting the absence of security for over six months and unrestricted access to the building. As of the time of this report, requests for comment from the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Investigative Committee for the Novosibirsk region have not been answered.
