“Neurobatya” Comedy Film Premieres and Releases Trailer

The comedy film “Neurobatya,” directed by Vitaly Dudka, has released its official trailer and poster online, following its initial screening at the XII Trans-Baikal International Film Festival (ZMKF) in Chita. The film was first presented to residents of Chita at the Udokan cinema on June 8. The general release of the film is scheduled for September.

“Neurobatya” is described as a daring comedy with science fiction elements that explores the relationships between generations. The film centers on Grisha, an IT specialist who creates a neural network capable of transferring consciousness into devices, and his experiences when he tests it on his father, a criminal leader named Bes. This leads them on a chaotic adventure where they are forced to reassess their connection to each other.

The cast includes Denis Vlasenko, Valentina Lyapina, Nastasya Samburskaya, Vitaly Khaev, Askar Nigamedzyanov, Alexander Oblasov, Sergei Chikhachev, and several popular bloggers and figure skaters. The film’s unique element involves transferring consciousness into various gadgets, including a specially designed animatronic robot rooster.

Denis Vlasenko emphasized the film’s relevance to modern communication, stating that despite the fantastical elements, the story reflects the value of real human connection in a world increasingly mediated by technology. The XII Trans-Baikal Film Festival received support from major businesses in the Transbaikalia region, including Bystrinsky GOK, Highland Gold group of companies, and Udokanskaya Med.
