Finnish authorities are investigating a suspected violation of their airspace by a Russian military aircraft. The incident allegedly occurred near the coast of Porvoo on June 10th.

Defense Minister Antti Häkkänen has announced the commencement of an investigation into the matter. The Finnish Border Guard is also conducting its own investigation into the alleged airspace breach.

This is not the first such incident; similar accusations were made last month when two Russian military aircraft allegedly entered the same area off the coast of Porvoo.

Following the previous incident, the Finnish Foreign Ministry summoned the Russian Ambassador to Finland, Pavel Kuznetsov, to provide clarification. Currently, no further details or official confirmation regarding the latest alleged violation have been released.
