Kronshtadt will host the “Be! Russia” International Film Festival, beginning June 12th. The festival aims to showcase Russian films about Russia and foreign directors’ perspectives on the country.

The festival’s main screenings are scheduled from June 13th to 15th at the Naval Glory Museum’s cinema hall. The summer festival coincides with the Days of Russia in Kronshtadt and will feature a well-known People’s Artist.

This year’s festival is dedicated to Sergei Bodrov, who tragically died in the Karmadon Gorge with the actors of the Narty Equestrian Theater.

The opening ceremony will be held at the Youth Palace cinema on June 12th, with prominent guests including Elena Drapeko, Sergei Rogozhin, Mikhail Boyarsky, Evgeny Sidikhin, and Alexander Bashirov.

The Narty Equestrian Theater will perform as part of this year’s film festival.

Admission to the “Be! Russia” International Film Festival is free for attendees aged 16 and older.

The “Be! Russia” International Film Festival continues the “Be!” cultural initiative, honoring those who united the country throughout history and became its symbol. The 2025 festival will be dedicated to Fyodor Dostoevsky.
