A 33-year-old man from the Lipetsk region has been detained in St. Petersburg for allegedly robbing a resident of his French bulldog, reportedly to impress his girlfriend. The incident occurred after the man, while intoxicated, broke into the victim’s apartment on Novoizmailovsky Prospekt.
The police were contacted by the 37-year-old St. Petersburg resident, who reported that a drunken stranger was breaking into his home. Upon arrival, law enforcement officers apprehended the suspect.
Preliminary investigations suggest that the man from Lipetsk had been drinking with his girlfriend when the topic of a French bulldog came up.
