A crowd has gathered near Lenin’s Mausoleum on Red Square to view the embalmed body of the leader. This was reported on June 10th, with queues already observed as early as June 4th.
The stone mausoleum, erected in 1930, is currently in need of restoration. The condition of the brick parts of the walls is considered critical, and the cladding is peeling off.

The mausoleum will soon be closed for new restoration work. The completion date is scheduled for June 19, 2027.
Approximately 19.6 million rubles have been allocated for the restoration and emergency work. Many visitors, including those with children, come to see the exhibition.
