The Novosibirsk mayor’s office is set to auction off a land plot in the Oktyabrsky district for development under the integrated territorial development (KRT) program, which will involve the demolition of over 40 barracks and two garages. The developer who wins the auction will have the opportunity to construct more than 204,000 square meters of housing on the 6-hectare site. The draft decree has been published on the municipal portal and outlines the boundaries of the development area as Koshurnikova, Dobrolyubova, and Stofato streets.
The project has a deadline of 2038. The city plans to resettle residents of 10 barracks using budget funds. In total, the territory contains 41 dilapidated barracks and two garages.
The conditions for the developer who will implement the project have not yet been specified by the mayor’s office. The two-story buildings slated for demolition were constructed in the 1950s and early 1960s.
A draft decree has been published, so changes to the document are possible. Recently, the mayor’s office put up for auction a quarter with two-story buildings in the Rastochka microdistrict, known as Siberian Florence, for almost 240 million rubles. For that project, the mayor’s office will resettle some residents of the two-story houses, while the developer will resettle others.
