Construction companies are reducing their building pace on current projects due to insufficient funds in escrow accounts, potentially delaying the completion of up to 30% of planned houses. Deputy Prime Minister Marat Khusnullin announced the possible delays.
To optimize efficiency, new construction methods are being considered, including pre-assembling large elements at factories for on-site assembly.
The “Edino” Group of Companies stated that modern panel construction can reduce time and labor costs by up to 20%. Alexey Buldin, Construction Director of “EDINO” Group of Companies, emphasized the importance of such methods, especially with industry pressures like labor shortages and the need for quick and affordable housing.
Investments in modernizing facilities, such as the Kirishsky House-Building Plant (DSK), have reached approximately half a billion rubles, resulting in a two-and-a-half-fold increase in output per employee.
Recent equipment installations at the DSK, including horizontal tables, rotating devices, and stackers, have expanded the product line. The plant operates on a full production cycle, handling everything from reinforcement to engineering units, and has already built over 500 houses.
The panels produced are known for enhanced noise, heat, and waterproofing, along with architectural and planning flexibility, offering up to 900 layout options and the capability to create building elements with ceilings up to five meters, floor-to-ceiling windows, and French balconies.
